Non-Degree Seeking Registration - for students not currently admitted to ISU - top
Individuals not seeking a degree at this time, but who wish to enroll in regular academic classes at ISU may register as part-time and take up to seven credits per semester as a non-degree seeking student.
Workshops at ISU - top
Individuals wishing to register for ISU workshops, short courses, or to strengthen backgrounds for various professional and industrial occupations can utilize the online workshop registration form. These courses are offered with the option of receiving credit. Courses will have a workshop fee plus, if taken for credit an additional $50 recording fee. The ISU admission application for all degree-seeking students is on the web at http://apply.isu.edu. The $40 application fee for new degree seeking active military students will be waived.
Students who have been enrolled and received grades at any college or university prior to being admitted to Idaho State University are considered transfer students. Before the application process can be completed, transfer students must submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. Graduate Admission - top
Students holding undergraduate degrees from any accredited college or university in the United States or with equivalent preparation acquired in another country may apply as degree seeking using the online application at http://apply.isu.edu.
Mandatory Advising - top
Newly admitted freshmen and transfer degree-seeking students are required to attend Mandatory Advising. Online Mandatory Advising is available at: http://www.isu.edu/enroll/manadvis.shtml.
Academic Registration for Degree Seeking Students - top
You are eligible to register for academic courses if you have been admitted as a degree-seeking student to ISU. Remember provides access online to academic registration as well as other vital student record information. http://my.isu.edu/
To ensure the security of academic records, requires that students know their ISU ID number along with their personal identification number (PIN) to gain access. Fee Payment for Academic Registration - top
Tuition and fees are charged based on the total number of registered credits. Fees must be paid by 4:30 p.m. on the Monday of the first week of the class to avoid late fees. Past due balances may prevent future access to registration. The current fee schedule is on the web at: http://www.isu.edu/areg/fees.shtml. (Note: Fees are subject to change without notice prior to the first official day of class.)
Refund Policy - top
University refund policies vary, depending on the length or type of class and the date the class is dropped.
- Official dates of the University, set by the Registrar, will be used to determine a refund.
- A $25 processing charge will be deducted from any refund except in the case of cancelled classes.
- Reduced fees and late fees are nonrefundable.

In certain circumstances, ISU reserves the right to cancel a course for insufficient enrollment. Students may then register without penalty for another course of equal credit or receive a full refund of tuition and fees. |
